An artistic shoot I did for my portfolio. The girl, Jenna, is my friends girlfriend, who does some part-time modelling and was kind enough to help out. Filmed on a 550D and fully colour corrected in after effects.

The idea was to give a peaceful, almost dreamlike state to the video. I wanted to create something that was simple and beautiful to watch and enjoy.

This sort of motion graphics is called “Kinetic Typography”. I chose the dialogue from The Dark Knight trailer, which looking back was a bit of a tough choice as some of the speach was pretty fast. Nonetheless, im happy with the result. Took me about two days working on it inbetween another project.

Doritos was having a competition to create and ad and possibly win up to £200,000 along with being aired on British TV.

So with my friends help, I shot and edited this short video.

Sometimes we say to ourselves:
If only… If only I said something sooner. If only I’d arrived on time… made more effort… called more often.
We like to think these ‘if only’s’ rarely make a difference. But what if they do?
What if, by accident or by design, these moments not only change our lives, but the lives of people we have never even met.

I wrote and directed this myself for a University project. It was filmed in a single day (was shot the day before but due to technical error, it had to be shot again the next day), and put together in a little under 2 days. The music was also created by myself.

For the past two years my friend has put on a charity rugby game for Cherry Trees Charity.

I was asked to film both years and edit a video for each, just something for everyone to remember it by and just for a bit of fun, nothing serious.

This was a Uni project last year, make a short trailer with some special effects involved.

Turned out pretty well, was a bit rushed for time, but the Uni want to use it for a promotional video for the media part of the university so thats something.
